Local Administration and Environment Authority begins construction of bridge over Khabur River in Hasakah, North and East Syria
NORTH AND EAST SYRIA — The Local Administrations and Environment Authority of the Democratic Autonomous Administration (DAA) of North and East Syria has begun construction of a temporary bridge over the Khabur River, adjacent to the Beiruti Bridge, in the Ghweran neighborhood of Hasakah. The bridge will be a link between the southern, central, and northern neighborhoods of the city and is a main road for those coming from Raqqa, Kobani, Mabbug (Manbij), Tabqa, and Dayro Zcuro (Deir ez-Zor).
The Local Administration and Environment Authority also began laying the asphalt for a road paving project in Tabqa.
In the first phase, the workshops worked on scraping the roads and preparing them for asphalting. As part of the asphalting project, work will be done on scattered patches within the streets of Tabqa city.
