Syrian Democratic Forces Spokesperson Aram Hanna discusses results of Operation Humanity and Security in Al-Hol Camp
NORTH AND EAST SYRIA — In a statement to Suroyo TV, official spokesperson of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Aram Hanna discussed the most prominent achievements of Operation Humanity and Security carried out by the Internal Security Forces (ISF) in Al-Hol Refugee Camp with the help of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and support of the US-International Coalition.
Hanna said that the SDF, in their various formations, provided full field support to the ISF during the implementation of the second phase of the operation during which 229 people, including 36 women, were arrested and caches of weapons and ammunition were revealed.
He added that the Coalition praised the effectiveness shown by the ISF and SDF during the implementation of joint tasks. The Coalition has emphasized on more than one occasion the leading role of the SDF in the war against terrorism, Hanna added.
He also spoke about the necessity of these operations to provide the appropriate atmosphere to achieve stability in the region. International recognition of the institutions of the Democratic Autonomous Administration (DAA) would also play an important role in combating terrorism and extremist organizations in the long-term.
