US-led International Coalition airlifts military supplies to Syria

NORTH AND EAST SYRIA — The US-led International Coalition announced the landing of a US Air Force military plane loaded with necessary aid to Syria.

Commander of the Combined Special Operations Joint Task Force in the Levant (CSOJTF-L) Brigadier General Claude Tudor stated via Twitter that a C-17 aircraft transported critical supplies to Syria for the first time.

He added that, for the first time, Coalition Forces can deploy anywhere, anytime in their mission to enable their partners as they ensure the security of the region.

He did not provide any additional details about the location and date of the plane’s landing.

“Our commitment to support our partners in the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) is critical to maintaining our partnership and maintaining the security and stability of North and East Syria,” he added.

Brig. Gen. Tudor pointed out that the US Air Force’s assistance in this task enables governments of the Coalition countries as a whole to increase regional stability.
