Suroyo TV preparing for 2022 Gala in Baghdede, Iraq
BAGHDEDE, Iraq — Suroyo TV, an affiliate of SyriacPress, is preparing to celebrate the 18th anniversary of its launch on 7 October in the Nineveh Plains town of Baghdede, Iraq.
This year’s celebration aims to create bridges between the diaspora and the homeland.
Since 2004, the celebration has taken place in Europe
The Preparatory Committee for the Suroyo TV Gala has begun arrangements to hold the Gala, for the first time, in the homeland of Beth Nahrin (Mesopotamia).
The celebration will include speeches and a performance by singer Walter Aziz, who will be travelling from the U.S.
