BAGHDEDE, Iraq — Preparations for the upcoming 2022 Suroyo TV Gala have concluded in Baghdede.
Chaldean–Syriac–Assyrian artist Walter Aziz arrived in Ankawa, Iraq. Aziz will perform at the Gala, which will be held on Friday in the Syriac city of Baghdede in Nineveh Plains.
Aziz was received at Erbil Airport by a Suroyo TV delegation that included member of the Bethnahrin Patriotic Union (Huyodo Bethnahrin Athroyo, HBA) Maryam Imad, who presented him a bouquet on behalf of the delegation.
Aziz, in turn, expressed his happiness for visiting the homeland and participating in the 2022 Gala.
The 2022 Gala Preparatory Committee announced that it will soon finish the preparations, except for the selling of tickets for the Gala’s raffles.
The Committee called on the Chaldean–Syriac–Assyrian people to provide financial support for the Gala, which will take place for the first time in the homeland of Beth Nahrin (Mesopotamia) in Iraq.
