Syriac-Assyrian Samira Habsono released from custody

ZALIN, North and East Syria — After being held and questioned by the Internal Security Forces (ISF) of North and East Syria for two months, Syriac-Assyrian Samira Habsono (20) was released from custody. She returned to her family in Zalin (Qamishli) in North and East Syria.

Habsono is the daughter of Gabriel Habsono Said, known as Gabi Gallo, a member of the Public Relations Office of the Syrian regime-aligned National Defense Forces (NDF).

She was arrested on charges of leaking secret information to parties that are against the Democratic Autonomous Administration (DAA) of North and East Syria.

During her questioning, the Syriac Security Forces (Sutoro) of North and East Syria arranged for the Habsono family to visit their daughter.
