Turkish artillery targets civilian homes in Abu Rasayn; Arab and Kurdish Tribes of Tel Barak confirm support for SDF

NORTH AND EAST SYRIA — On Tuesday, the Media Center of the Internal Security Forces (ISF) of North and East Syria reported that Turkish and Turkish-backed Syrian National Army (SNA) artillery targeted civilian homes and the headquarters of the ISF in the town of Abu Rasayn (Zarkan).

The Media Center added that, in the face of repeated indiscriminate bombing by Turkey and its proxies, there has been nothing but silence from the international community.

The bombing comes at a time when Arab and Kurdish tribes in Tel Barak confirmed their readiness to confront the continuous attacks of Turkey and the SNA during a meeting with the ISF and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). They stressed their rejection of the occupation’s attempts to turn the people against the Democratic Autonomous Administration (DAA).

The meeting included several interventions by sheikhs and dignitaries of the district, which included many inquiries, suggestions, and popular demands to be answered by the present members.

On the importance of the meeting and what they reached at the end of it, the tribesmen stressed that they would not spare any efforts in defending the land and dignity of the people of North and East Syria, and that they would sacrifice blood for the soil of this country.
