ZALIN, Syria— On Wednesday, the Foreign Relations Commission of the Democratic Autonomous Administration (DAA) of North and East Syria received a delegation from the Federal Republic of Germany headed by Kurt Stöckl-Stillfried, Director of Legal and Consular Affirs at the German Foreign Ministry.

The delegation was received by Foreign Relations Commission Deputy Co-Chair Fanar al-Kait and member of the Commission’s Administrative Body Khaled Ibrahim.

Al-Kait thanked Stöckl-Stillfried and Germany for supporting the stability of the region and for continuing to repatriate German nationals from camps in North and East Syria.

Stöckl-Stillfried expressed his gratitude for the cooperation of the DAA, saying that it is not the first time that he has visited the regions of North and East Syria and DAA will not be left alone to deal with the issue of ISIS individuals in detention and camps.
