Syriac Cross continues aid program for farmers in North and East Syria 

AMUDA, Syria — As farmers in North and East Syria begin the winter planting season amid dire growing conditions and acute lack of resources, the Syriac Cross Organization for Relief and Development announced the continuation of its program to assist farmers in North and East increase the productivity of their farmland and decrease resource usage.

The program seeks to answer farmers’ questions and provide assistance and guidance to support the cultivation of winter crops by drip irrigation in the countryside of Amuda, North and East Syria.

The Syriac Cross has worked to provide support and assistance to various groups of people in North and East Syria through the distribution of food baskets and undertaking development projects to improve the situation of the region and livelihood of the residents.
