Martyrs of Bethnahrin National Council remembered in the Netherlands
HENGELO, Netherlands — The institutions of Bethnahrin National Council (Mawtbo Umthoyo D’Bethnahrin, MUB) in the Netherlands commemorated the martyrs of the MUB at Beth Suryoyo in Hengelo, Netherlands.
Representatives of the Assyrian Democratic Organization (ADO), as well as the Mor Aho and Mor Jirjis associations, attended the commemoration.
The remembrance began with a minute of silence for the souls of the martyrs, followed by a discussion about the importance of remembering the martyrs of the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) people who sacrificed their lives for their people and freedom.
During the discussions, the attendees demonstrated the importance of remembering the martyrs throughout history and not forgetting the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) people in the homeland.

Poet Sabri Saado recited a poem about the lives of the martyrs and their courage in the pursuit of freedom for the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) people.
