Members and leaders of Syriac Security Forces in North and East Syria pledge to follow path of Martyr Aryo

NORTH AND EAST SYRIA — Officials and members of the Syriac Military Council (Mawtbo Fulhoyo Suryoyo, MFS) and Sutoro (Syriac Security Forces) in Hasakah, North and East Syria, spoke about the life of Martyr Aryo, Brahim Bassam Mikhail, who was martyred in a Turkish drone strike last week. They spoke of the qualities he possessed, especially with regard to serving the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) people and defending their rights, pledging to follow the path of his martyrdom.

In a comment to Suroyo TV, brother of Martyr Arsene Mardo, Armin Mardo, and a member of the Assyrian Martyrs’ Families Foundation, said, “We lost a leader in the Sutoro who was a companion and a dear brother. He had high morals and loved life and was sincere in his defense of our people and historical land.”

The official spokesperson for Sutoro, Akkad Hanna, affirmed the Martyr Aryo’s commitment and dedication to the struggle of the Syriac (Aramaean–Assyrian–Chaldean) people and his drive to serve his people and defend their rights and presence in the homeland.

Hanna pledged to walk in the path of Martyr Aryo and all martyrs to achieve the freedom of Syriac (Aramean_Assyrian_Chaldean) people and the realization of their rights.

Administrator of Sutoro Women in Dayrik (Al-Malikiayh) Georgina Ashur said that Martyr Aryo sacrificed to raise the status of the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) people. Losing him has had a great impact on his comrades, who have pledged to follow his path.
