Syriac Content Creator Awards held in Ankawa, Iraq
ANKAWA, Iraq — On Saturday, the General Directorate of Syriac Content Creator Award organized a festival for Chaldean–Syriac–Assyrian content makers in which 10 pieces of content that linked the civilization and heritage of the Chaldean–Syriac–Assyrian people and their current reality competed.
Held in Ankawa, Iraq, in the presence of a distinguished group of content creators, the Syriac Content Creator Awards distributed awards to the top three places.
Ten young Chaldean–Syriac–Assyrian creators competed, presenting content in a mixture of the vocabulary of the Mesopotamian civilization and folklore on the one hand, and the current reality on the other.
The Director-General of Syriac Content Creator Awards, Kaldo Ramzi Ogna, affirmed in his speech the organization’s support and encouragement for promising, energetic young Chaldean–Syriac–Assyrian people. This competition is a first step to open the doors of the future for young people to highlight their talents.
The Awards included a party in which a number of Chaldean–Syriac–Assyrian singers, including Nagham Edwar, Youssef Aziz, and Ukr Adour, performed The dance duo Seif Tuza and Cynthia Asdourian also performed.
