Beth Nahrin Patriotic Union visits Bet-Nahrain Democratic Party, receives retired Brigadier General Daoud Berno in Ankawa, Iraq
ANKAWA, Iraq — On Tuesday, a delegation from the Beth Nahrin Patriotic Union (Huyodo Bethnahrin Athroyom, HBA) visited the headquarters of the Bet-Nahrain Democratic Party (BNDP) to congratulate the party on the 46th anniversary of its founding.
The HBA delegation included party head Youssef Yaqoub Matti and members of the party’s administrative committee Hazem Daoud Karumi and Imad Yusef Yaqoub. They were received by the head and members of the leadership of the BNDP.
During the meeting, Matti spoke about the role of the BNDP in the national and patriotic sphere, wishing them further progress and success.
In related news, the HBA received retired Brigadier General Daoud Berno. During the meeting, a dialogue took place about the importance of unifying the visions of Chaldean–Syriac–Assyrian political parties and organizations regarding their national and patriotic rights, including the establishment of an autonomous administration in Nineveh Plains. They also discussed the HBA’s role in unifying the ranks of the Chaldean–Syriac–Assyrian people.
The outcomes of the Brussels Conference held on 28 June 2016, which delineated the rights of the Chaldean–Syriac–Assyrian people, was also discussed.
