Free Burma Rangers visit Northern Democratic Forces and Executive Council of North and East Syria

NORTH AND EAST SYRIA — A delegation from humanitarian non-profit organization Free Burma Rangers (FBR), headed by David Eubank, visited the headquarters of the Executive Council of the Democratic Autonomous Administration (DAA) of North and East Syria.

They were received by Executive Council Co-Chairs Berivan Khaled and Abdul Hamid al-Mahbash, as well as Deputy Co-Chair Gabriel Shamoun.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed a number of issues, including the challenges facing the DAA challenges at all levels, especially politically. The living, service, and health situation in the entire regions of North and East Syria were also discussed.

The visiting delegation commended the DAA’s efforts in providing security and stability to the people of North and East Syria, stressing its support for the various projects implemented in the region, especially in the health sector.

Co-Chairs Khalde and al-Mahbash thanked the Free Burma Rangers for their support.



The Free Burma Rangers delegation also visited the Northern Democratic Forces Command.

The visiting delegation was accompanied by spokesperson for the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Aram Hanna and was welcomed by Commander-in-Chief of the Northern Democratic Forces Abu Omar al-Idlibi.

They discussed the latest political and security developments in the region, especially the continued Turkish threats and attacks on North and East Syria.

The dire conditions experienced by the people of Edelb (Idlib) and their displacement from their lands after coming under the control of the Turkish-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) were also discussed.

Al-Idlibi stressed the will and determination of the people of Edelb to achieve their goals and establish a democratic administration that guarantees the rights of all.

They emphasized the need to establish comprehensive development projects in North and East Syria to support the DAA.
