People’s Municipality in Tal Tamr in North and East Syria starts a solar street lighting project

TAL TAMR, Syria —  In light of the almost daily Turkish attacks on infrastructure and service facilities in Tal Tamr, the municipalities continue to serve the residents of the area.

The People’s Municipality in Tal Tamr district in North and East Syria has started a solar street lighting project.

116 solar-powered light bulbs will be installed on poles in the main streets of Tal Tamr district.

The director of the technical office of the People’s Municipality in Tal Tamr district Goran Muhammad stated that they have started putting light bulbs on the M4 Highway, some neighborhoods in the district and the Martyr Qandil Roundabout.

Muhammad stated that the cost of the project amounted to about $8,900, but did not provide any information on the duration of the project.
