Christians of the Middle East Foundation preparing remembrance event in Mainz, Germany, to discuss effects of 1915 Sayfo Genocide
MAINZ, Germany — Christians of the Middle East Foundation is preparing a remembrance of the 1915 Sayfo Genocide in Mainz, Germany. During the remembrance event, musical performances inspired by the events of the genocide will be performed and several speeches will be delivered covering the after effects of genocide on the individual and social psyche of the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) people and the importance of building relationships between the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) people in the East and West.
Musical artists Jack Sarhan and Linda Hadiko will perform during the event.
The organization invites the general public to attend to convey the voice of the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) people and ensure the Sayfo isn’t forgotten and its effects on the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) people to the whole world.
The remembrance will be held on the 19 November at 15:00 in the Church of Saint Quintin in Mainz, Germany.
