Delegation of Beth Nahrin National Council institutions visits the newly-elected sheikh of Shammar tribe in North and East Syria

NORTH AND EAST SYRIA — A delegation from institutions of the Beth Nahrin National Council (Mawtbo Umthoyo D’Bethnahrin, MUB) visited the newly-elected sheikh of the Shammar tribe, Manea al-Hamidi al-Daham, at his palace.

The visiting delegation consisted of member of the MUB presidential body Echoua Gourieh, Co-Chair of the Syriac Union Party (SUP) in Syria Sanharib Barsom, SUP official in Qabre Hewore (Qahtaniya) Branch Habib Ardish and members of the SUP executive body George Youssef and Abd-alahad Gourieh.

The delegation offered condolences on the death of Sheikh Hamidi Daham al-Hadi, Co-Chair of the Gozarto (Jazira) Region and leader of Al-Sanadid forces, and congratulated the newly-elected Sheikh Manea al-Hamidi al-Daham

The two sides discussed ways to strengthen relations at all levels. The recent Turkish political and military developments, as well as the military threats to the security and stability were also discussed.
