Civil, political, and military delegations congratulate Syriac Union Party on Christmas

ZALIN, Syria — On Christmas, the Syriac Union Party (SUP) in Syria received at its headquarters in Zalin (Qamishli) a number of civil, political, religious, and military delegations.

Among the delegations were Co-Chairs and Deputies of the Executive Council of Gozarto (Jazira) Region, North and East Syria.

The Kurdish Left Party, Dignitaries Council of North and East Syria, Yezidi House, and Democratic Union Party (PYD) also visited the SUP headquarters to extend their congratulations on the advent on Christmas and to wish the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) community well in their celebrations. They hoped that the New Year would bring goodness and safety to the region and country.

The SUP also received delegations from the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), Internal Security Forces (ISF), and Syriac-Assyrian Martyrs’ Families Foundation.

The delegations spoke about the meaning of the Christmas holiday and remembered the martyrs who sacrificed themselves for the freedom and security of their homeland. The delegations pledged to continue the struggle against the occupation and crimes of Turkey and its proxies to secure a safe dignified life for all of Syria’s peoples.
