Syrian National Alliance delegation visits headquarters of Syriac Union Party in Zalin, North and East Syria

ZALIN, Syria — On Wednesday, the Syriac Union Party (SUP) received a delegation from the Syrian National Alliance at its headquarters in Zalin (Qamishli), North and East Syria, on a friendly visit aimed at learning more about the Democratic Autonomous Administration’s (DAA) institutions and their work.

The delegation was represented by Secretary of the Alliance Aram Domani and Relations Officer Abidin Rasho.

The delegation was also accompanied by Co-Chairs of the Relations Office of the Syrian Democratic Council (SDC) Hussein Azzam and Daria Ramdan.

They were received by Co-Chairs of the SUP Sanharib Barsoum and Nazira Kourieh, member of the Presidential Body of the Beth Nahrin National Council (Mawtbo Umthoyo DꞌBethnahrin, MUB) Ichoua Gourieh, and member of the Executive Body of the SUP Rubel Baho.

The SUP explained that the guests were introduced to the Syrian National Alliance, its work, goals and political vision.

The two parties discussed the latest developments in Syria and North and East Syria and the DAA project as a model of governance in Syria. They also discussed the importance of the DAA in achieving democratic change in Syria through the establishment of a decentralized pluralistic system that guarantees the rights of all peoples.
