WASHINGTON. D. C. The Institute for Religious Freedom in Washington DC (RFI) announced the appointed of three new priests as senior fellows for international religious freedom policy, including Father Salar Kajo Budagh, a Chaldean-Syriac-Assyrian priest from Alqosh, Iraq.

Fr Salar and the other priests will work on projects focused on the persecution of religious minorities in the Middle East and Africa. They will join Stephen Rasche, RFI Senior Fellow for International Religious Freedom in Conflict Regions, in an expanded project focused on the long-term effects of persecution and violence on religious minorities and marginalized populations in Africa and the Middle East.
