General Directorate of Syriac Studies in Iraq conducts inspection visits to Syriac schools in Nineveh Plains
KARAMLESH and BARTELLA, Iraq — On Sunday, Director General of Syriac Studies in Iraq Imad Salem Jajo conducted an inspection tour of schools in Nineveh Plains that teach Syriac. Jajo was accompanied by Director of Education in Al-Hamdaniya District Rafid Youssef, Director of the Syriac Study Department in Nineveh Education Riad Saeed, and Director of the Examinations Division in Al-Hamdaniya Education Marcel Abada. The tour included schools in Karamlesh and Bartella.
The delegation met with school administrators and educators and was briefed on the progress of exams. They also discussed the needs of the schools.
Director of the Technologies and Curricula Department of the General Directorate of Syriac Studies Sharara Youssef conducted a separate inspection tour of schools in Alqosh. She was accompanied on the visit by Mr. Zaid Gharib, official of the Syriac Study Division in Tel Kayf.
