Syriac–Assyrian Martyrs’ Families Foundation visits families of martyrs and captives in Hasakah, North and East Syria
HASAKAH, Syria — Yesterday, a delegation from the Syriac–Assyrian Martyrs’ Families Foundation in Gozarto (Jazira) Region, North and East Syria, conducted outreach visits to the families of Syriac–Assyrian martyrs and captives in Hasakah and the surrounding countryside. The Foundation delegation was accompanied by officials of the Democratic Autonomous Administration (DAA) in Hasakah and representatives of the Syriac Military Council (Mawtbo Fulhoyo Suryoyo, MFS).
The delegation included Co-Chair of the Foundation in Gozarto Region Nisreen Jolo, Foundation official Jamil Bahho Oussi, Hasakah Region Official Sophia Yusef, and representatives of MFS.
The visits aimed to check on the living conditions of the families, especially after the earthquake that struck the region on 6 February, and to provide all necessary assistance.
The Syriac–Assyrian Martyrs’ Families Foundation seeks to ensure the basic needs of families who have given martyrs in the struggle for the rights and freedom of the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) people are met in appreciation for their sacrifice.
