Pastor of Syriac Catholic Church in Zalin, North and East Syria, extends Easter congratulations
ZALIN, Syria — In comments to our news desk, Pastor of Syriac Catholic Church of St. Peter and Paul in Zalin (Qamishli), North and East Syria, Father Yousef al-Assi congratulated Christians around the world on Feast of Resurrection.
The Father al-Assi prayed for peace and stability to prevail in war-torn Syria after 12 long years of suffering.
He also extended his congratulations to the people of Zalin and the whole Gozarto (Jazira) Region on this most holy of days.
Father al-Assi closed by asking God to end the wars, pandemics, and disasters that burdened the Syrian people.
