Chaldean–Syriac–Assyrian artist Mumtaz Nouh Farro holds 4th exhibition in Bartella, Iraq

BARTELLA, Iraq — The 4th personal art exhibition of Chaldean–Syriac–Assyrian artist Mumtaz Nouh Farro was held at the cultural hall of Mor Gewargis Church in the Nineveh Plains town of Bartela, Iraq.

Farro, who is a painter and visual artist, titled the exhibition “Wood Secrets”. The exhibition included a large number of wooden paintings and handicrafts. The event was attended by Father Kuryakus Hanna Taraji, representatives of cultural, educational, and civil institutions, as well as artists from various ethnic groups.

The exhibition will continue until Tuesday evening. On Wednesday, the exhibited works will be included in the cultural festival held by the General Directorate of Syriac Culture and Arts in Ankawa.
