HASAKAH, Syria — The Syriac–Assyrian Martyrs’ Families Foundation hosted a moving tribute to the fallen heroes who sacrificed their lives in defense of the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) people and the wider region. Several families visited the Syriac–Assyrian Martyrs shrine in Hasakah, North and East Syria, before Easter.
During the visit, which took place on Saturday morning, the families paid their respects by lighting candles and watering the shrines of their loved ones. The families expressed their deep sense of pride in their loved one’s heroism and sacrifice.
