Assyrian Democratic Party visits Syriac Union Party in Zalin, North and East Syria, to exchange Easter greetings and discuss issues of common concern
ZALIN, Syria — On Tuesday evening, a delegation from the Assyrian Democratic Party (ADP) paid a visit to the headquarters of the Syriac Union Party (SUP) in Zalin (Qamishli), North and East Syria.
The visiting delegation was comprised of the party head and representative in the Syrian Democratic Council (SDC) Wael Mirza, ADP official Johnny Hormuz, ADP members Jamila Kako and Shamoun Kako, official of the Property Protection Committee Shlimon Barshah, and member of the Nattoreh Forces Slivo Mousa.
The delegation was welcomed by SUP Co-Chairs Nazira Goreya and Sanharib Barsom, as well as Rubel Bahho, a member of the SUP Executive Body. The visit was primarily to offer Easter congratulations, and both sides expressed their hope that the holidays would bring peace and prosperity to Syria and its people.
In addition to the exchange of pleasantries, the two parties discussed various issues of common concern related to the situation of the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) people and the overall developments taking place in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES).

During the meeting, the importance of the coordination between the political parties of the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) people was emphasized. Both parties underscored the need to develop joint work that serves the goals, demands, and rights of the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) people.
