The Syriac Union Party (SUP) in Syria issued a congratulatory telegram in which it said: ” On Eid Al-Fitr, we extend our warmest congratulations and blessings to all Muslims in Syria and the world, with our hopes that it will be a holiday that brings joy and happiness to all Syrians who live in difficult situations.”
The SUP affirmed its constant endeavor to reach a free, democratic, pluralistic, and decentralized Syria, in which all Syrian people live in equality and perpetuate the concepts of civil peace and coexistence.
The Syriac Military Council (Mawtbo Fulhoyo Suryoyo, MFS) via Twitter sent its congratulations, “The MFS General Command extends its congratulations to all the peoples of the region on Eid al-Fitr, and wishes the peoples of the region and Syria in general well-being, health and safety.”
The Democratic Autonomous Administration (DAA) of North and East Syria, in turn, sent congratulations to the whole Islamic world, including the Syrian people, especially in North and East Syria.
The DAA wished that stability and security would prevail in Syria, affirming its mission to serve the people of the region and strengthen partnership and harmony between all ethnic components of society.
The DAA added that twelve years of war in Syria have passed without signs or hope for a solution. It hoped that Syrian people would overcome their suffering and that everyone would soon return to their regions.
