BAGHDEDE and KARAMLESH, Iraq — The Beth Nahrain Organization for Women (BNOW) recently held a meeting with its cadres in the Nineveh Plains towns of Baghdede and Karamlesh in northern Iraq. The meeting aimed to discuss work mechanisms and develop future programs and activities. Attendees also discussed the development and progress of BNOW’s work.
In recent months, BNOW has sought to enhance its role in society by organizing various courses, including art and computer courses, and delivering lectures.
The BNOW believes that empowering and organizing women provides them with opportunities to enhance their intellectual culture and participation in public life. BNOW also seeks to empower women economically by encouraging their active participation in various courses, which help to develop their personalities and willpower.
