Two Chaldean–Syriac–Assyrian youth participate in scientific and technological innovations competition at American University in Dohuk (Nohadra), Iraq

NOHADRA, Iraq — As part of its efforts to encourage scientific and technological innovation among students in Iraq, the American University in Dohuk (Nohadra) recently held a competition showcasing students’ creative inventions.

Two Chaldean–Syriac–Assyrian youths from Nohadra, Ninab Yunan Yukhna and Ashur Saad Odisho, participated in the event and presented their innovative project — an autonomous driving and parking car.

The competition, which is scheduled to last for several days, will reward the winners with both material and moral prizes.

The American University, established in Nohadra in 2014, is a private, non-profit institution of higher education.
