Syrian refugees in Lebanon agree to initiative of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria
BEIRUT / NORTH AND EAST SYRIA — Earlier, Co-Chair of Foreign Relations Department in the Democratic Autonomous Administration (DAA) of North and East Syria Badran Jiya kurd presented an initiative, in which he affirmed the DAA’s readiness to receive Syrian refugees in Lebanon.
The Syrian refugees responded with a distress call to the U.S. and the DAA of North and East Syria. They called for the need to expedite the implementation of this initiative and transferring them to the regions of North and East Syria.
They affirmed that this step will thwart all projects that aim at dividing Syrian society. It will also perpetuate the plurality in Syria, and confirm the existence of a good opposition supported by the Syrian opposition in Lebanon.
They also stressed the urgent need to review the uprising and opposition. It also confirms that a national formation that speaks on behalf of the Syrian people already exists and enjoys the national, moral and humanitarian responsibility that was absent from all the Syrian parties who claim to represent the opposition.
