Bethnahrin Patriotic Union inaugurates new branch in Bartella, Iraq
BARTELLA, Iraq — On 17 May, the Bethnahrin Patriotic Union (Huyodo Bethnahrin Athroyo, HBA) inaugurated new branch in the Nineveh Plains town of Bartella, Iraq.
The party’s new headquarters in Bartella has been warmly welcoming delegations from the Chaldean–Syriac–Assyrian community, who have visited to offer their congratulations.
Among the distinguished delegates were priest of the Syriac Orthodox Virgin Mary Church Father Quryakus Matti Matuka, Bartella District official Ali Muhammad Fathi al-Iskandar, Syriac Catholic priest Father Behnam Adwar. Additionally, Mazen Khalil, an official from the Badr Organizations, and Behnam Rafo Llo, the pastor of the Syriac Catholic Church in Nohadra (Duhok), were also in attendance.
HBA head Youssef Yaqoub Matti and other HBA members received the visitors at the HBA Bartella Branch, expressing their gratitude for the importance of these meaningful exchanges between the people of Nineveh Plains and their respective parties. These parties are known for their independent decision-making based on unwavering patriotic principles, devoted to addressing the concerns of the people with dedication and sincerity.
