Fire broke out in agricultural crops of Tel Tal village in Tel Tamr, North and East Syria

KHABUR, Syria — Yesterday, a fire broke out in the agricultural crops of the Syriac-Assyrian village of Tel Tal, south of Tel Tamr, North and East Syria.

According to local media outlets, the fire led to the burning of about 10 dunums of barley crop, before the firefighting teams put it out.

No information was provided about the reasons for fire, and no casualties were recorded.

Earlier, the Democratic Autonomous Administration (DAA) of north and East Syria had taken measures to prevent such fires that broke out frequently in previous seasons.

The DAA had formed an Emergency Cell in all its departments to provide all necessary facilities.
