Syriac Military Council meets with Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria Executive Council in Raqqa
RAQQA, Syria — On Monday, a delegation from the Syriac Military Council (Mawtbo Fulhoyo Suryoyo, MFS) visited the headquarters of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES), in Raqqa.
The delegation included several MFS leaders. They were received by Co-Chair of the AANES Executive Council Berivan Khaled and Deputy Co-Chairs Gabriel Shamoun and Hamdan al-Abed.
The two sides discussed the security situation in North and East Syria, ways to combat terrorism, and the efforts made by the security forces to maintain the stability of the regions. The latest political developments related to resolving the Syrian crisis were also touched on.
The MFS delegation commended the AANES efforts to solve the Syrian crisis and the initiatives it recently launched to end the suffering of the Syrian people.
The delegation also praised the AANES endeavor to reach a comprehensive agreement through Syrian-Syrian dialogue which includes all Syrian ethnic and religious components.
The AANES officials, in turn, commended the MFS efforts and its participation in all military campaigns alongside the other military formations affiliated with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) to liberate the region from terrorism and maintain safety and stability.
