Syriac Union Party mourns passing Hawro Noura Hanna, Democratic Union Party and Legislative and Executive Councils of North and East Syria offer condolences 

NORTH AND EAST SYRIA — The Syriac Union Party (SUP) in Syria and Europe issued a telegram expressing its condolences for the loss of Hawro Noura Hanna, who tragically passed away on Tuesday in Zalin (Qamishli), North and East Syria, after a lifetime of devoted service and unwavering commitment.

Hawro Noura Hanna, a true role model, instilled in her children a profound love for their homeland and an unwavering dedication to the cause of the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) people. She taught them to embrace the struggle for their homeland and to defend it with unwavering determination until their very last breath.

Recognizing her immense sacrifice and unwavering dedication to the cause of the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) people and other communities in the region, the SUP reverently declared Hawro Noura Hanna a martyr for the party and the ongoing struggle.

The condolence telegram highlighted Hawro Noura Hanna’s strong familial ties, illustrating a family deeply committed to the welfare of the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) people and the party. She actively served in various institutions of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES). Her most recent role was as a member of the AANES Legislative Council office, where she made significant contributions.

The Legislative and Executive Councils expressed profound sorrow over the passing of Hawro Noura Malki Hanna, a member of the Legislative Council.

The Legislative Council extended its heartfelt condolences to her family and colleagues. The Executive Council also shared its deepest sympathies with her family and comrades, acknowledging the invaluable contributions she made to North and East Syria.

The Democratic Union Party (PYD) also conveyed its sincere condolences and solidarity to her family and comrades in the SUP. The PYD wished them strength and comfort during this period of profound loss.
