On 26th anniversary of its founding, Bethnahrin Patriotic Union Party in Iraq pledges to continue struggle for rights of Chaldean-Syriac-Assyrian people
ERBIL — On the 26th anniversary of its founding, the Bethnahrin Patriotic Union Party in Iraq (Huyodo Bethnahrin Athroyo, HBA) issued a statement.
“Since its founding, the HBA has been participating in the Iraqi national struggle with the other Iraqi national forces, in order to build a united democratic federal Iraq. Meanwhile, the HBA has not hesitated to defend the rights of Chaldean-Syriac-Assyrian people and fight injustice against them,” read the HBA statement.
The statement emphasized that the Chaldean-Syriac-Assyrian people are authentic ethnic component who founded of the first civilizations in the history of mankind and represented the ancient people of Beth Nahrin (Mesopotamia).
The HBA has been struggling and demanding the cultural, political, and administrative rights of Chaldean-Syriac-Assyrian people, represented in their free will, fighting injustice against them and stopping their migration.
The HBA demanded the Iraqi parliament and government, Iraqi parties, civil society organizations and every honorable Iraqi to consider the issue of the Chaldean-Syriac-Assyrian people to stop injustice against them, grant them their national historical rights and stop their migration.
The HBA has been struggling for the Iraqi people in general and Chaldean-Syriac-Assyrian people. The HBA pledged to obtain rights of Chaldean-Syriac-Assyrian people, following the sacrifices of our righteous martyrs.
