Christian Front in Lebanon: Lebanese people are not afraid of Hezbollah’s recent threats
BEIRUT — After its periodic meeting at its headquarters in Ashrafieh, the Christian Front in Lebanon stated that the intimidation and confusion of the Shiite reflects their dilemma.
In a statement, the Front declared that this thuggish approach has become known to the Lebanese people, because the Shiite aim to control the remaining sovereignty of the Lebanese people.
“Their call for dialogue is only a means of pressure to impose their candidate,” read the statement.
The Front also affirmed that intimidation and the threat of dividing the decision-making process will not intimidate the free people of Lebanon with all its ethnic groups, especially the Christians. The Front expressed its confidence in the Lebanese Army as the only protector of the homeland.
The Front stressed that the only solution is implementing UN Resolution No. 1559, withdrawing the weapons of pro-Iranian Lebanese and Palestinian militias and achieving a federal system that prevents division which the Shiite seek, if they failed to control Lebanon.
