Civil and security officials celebrate Eid al-Adha with messages of unity and resilience
NORTH AND EAST SYRIA — Amid a spirit of coexistence in North and East Syria, various political parties, military organizations, and security institutions representing different ethnic groups have sent congratulatory messages on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
The Syriac Union Party (Gabo Huyodo Suryoyo, SUP), Syriac Military Council (Mawtbo Fulhoyo Suryoyo, MFS), Sutoro (Syriac Security Forces), and Sutoro Women expressed their warm wishes and congratulations to Muslims in the region, Syria, and across the world.
In their heartfelt messages, they expressed hope that this Eid would bring about goodness and peace for all, particularly for war-torn Syria, which continues to grapple with the consequences of the conflict and the absence of a just and peaceful political resolution.
The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) and Movement for a Democratic Society (TEV-DEM) have also issued statements extending their congratulations to all ethnic communities in Syria, as well as the families of the martyrs and the wounded.
They reiterated their commitment to the ongoing defense of the people in North and East Syria, the region, emphasizing the importance of collaboration among all ethnic groups.
Furthermore, they called upon the people of the region to unite with the security and military forces in safeguarding their land and countering the attacks carried out by the Turkish occupation.
