President of Universal Syriac Union Party addresses Christian concerns and Iranian influence in Lebanon

BEIRUT — President of the Universal Syriac Union Party (USUP), Ibrahim Mrad, was interviewed by a Polish TV channel on Wednesday at the headquarters of the Christian Front in Lebanon.

During the interview, Mrad discussed the situation of Christians in Lebanon and the broader Middle East. The primary focus of the conversation was on the negative consequences of Iranian presence in the region, which has led to destabilization and insecurity in Lebanon and the surrounding countries.

Mrad emphasized that the Christian Front’s main objectives are centered around restoring the spirit of resistance among Christians. Additionally, he addressed the issue of displaced Syrians in Lebanon and the burden they pose on the country’s already dire economic situation.
