Syriac Security Forces ramp up measures to ensure safety and joyous Eid al-Adha celebrations in North and East Syria

NORTH AND EAST SYRIA — During the Eid al-Adha festivities in Zalin (Qamishli), North and East Syria, Sutoro (Syriac Security Forces) implemented various measures to ensure the safety and stability of the region during the holiday season.

SyriacPress recently interviewed William Issa, a Sutoro official in Zalin, to discuss these security measures.

Issa confirmed that they erected barriers and intensified security patrols at all entry and exit points in the city, as well as within the city itself. Additionally, restrictions have been placed on motorcycle mobility during the Eid period.

He expressed appreciation for the cooperation of residents and their adherence to the implemented measures. The local population regarded these steps as crucial for safeguarding the region against any potential disturbances that might mar the festive atmosphere of Eid.

Some citizens have gone above and beyond by promptly reporting suspicious vehicles or individuals to the security forces for further investigation or apprehension, said Issa.

On behalf of Sutoro, he called upon all citizens to support the Internal Security Forces (ISF) of North and East Syria, of which Sutoro is a part, by promptly reporting any suspicious activities or objects.

Issa extended heartfelt Eid al-Adha greetings to all the people of the region, expressing hope that the celebration would bring prosperity and tranquility to everyone.
