101 Turkish violations in Rish Ayno (Ras al-Ayn) and Tel Abyad, says Violations Documentation Center in Northern Syria

NORTH AND EAST SYRIA — The Violations Documentation Center in Northern Syria issued a report that included statistics of the violations carried out by the Turkish Army and its factions in the occupied areas of Rish Ayno (Ras al-Ayn) and Tel Abyad, during June 2023.

The report pointed to the increasing rates of violence, crime and fighting incidents between the Turkish factions, and the increase in the number of explosions in the Turkish-controlled areas.

In its statistics, the report stated that 2 people were killed as a result of the Turkish bombing of populated villages, 5 incidents resulting from the explosion of mines and booby traps, 33 people were arrested and tortured, 19 people were kidnapped, and 5 people were injured as a result of the violations.

Previous reports stated that Turkey’s occupation of some Syrian regions has caused the displacement of 375,000 people, in addition to human rights violations, torture, arrests and field executions, as well as the seizure of real estate and private property and indiscriminate bombing with internationally prohibited weapons.
