Graduation ceremony marks successful completion of second officers’ course for Internal Security Forces in North and East Syria

HASAKAH, Syria — Yesterday, the city of Hasakah, North and East Syria, witnessed the graduation of the second officers’ course for the Internal Security Forces (ISF) of North and East Syria, with a total of 297 officers successfully completing the program. Among the graduates were officers from the Sutoro (Syriac Security Forces).

The graduation ceremony took place at the Martyr Tolhildan Academy in Hasakah and was attended by high-ranking officials, including the General Command of the ISF, General Command of Sutoro, the Interior Authority, and the Co-Chairship of the Syriac Union Party (SUP).

Named after the Martyr Abd Attia al-Othman, the officers’ course marks a significant milestone in the progress of the ISF. In comments to Suroyo TV, Kanaan Barakat, Co-Chair of the Interior Authority in Gozarto (Jazira) Region, emphasized the course’s importance in the current critical stage faced by the regions of North and East Syria. The challenges confronting the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) and its democratic project necessitate the dedication and responsibility of all members, including officers, towards the various issues affecting the region.

Barakat further emphasized that the graduation represents a qualitative leap in their capabilities and highlights their commitment to safeguarding the region’s stability and the success of AANES’s endeavors.
