Stichting Schlomo and Syriac Cross continue distributing aid to those affected by February earthquake

HOLEB, Syria — Dutch non-profit Stichting Schlomo and the Syriac Cross Organization for Relief and Development, in close collaboration with other relief groups, continue their efforts to distribute aid in various regions of Turkey and Syria in the aftermath of the earthquakes that struck the region in February.

The organizations have intensified their work in recent days, focusing on areas where Syriac (Aramean–Chaldean–Assyrian) communities are concentrated.

In addition to their partnerships with other organizations, such as Caritas Slovakia, Schlomo and Syriac Cross are coordinating their efforts with other Syriac institutions to expedite aid delivery to Christians in Turkey and Syria.

Most recently, the two organizations provided food, water, and personal hygiene kits to residents of Holeb (Aleppo) and its surrounding areas, who were affected by the earthquakes.

Since launching their earthquake relief campaign, the organizations successfully collected donations from the Syriac (Aramean–Chaldean–Assyrian) diaspora to support those in need in Antakya, Iskenderun, and other Syrian cities.

Both organizations continue to welcome donations from the Syriac (Aramean–Chaldean–Assyrian) community, keeping their doors open to further contributions.
