Assyrian Democratic Organization visits Syriac Union Party in Zalin, North and East Syria 

ZALIN, Syria — In a show of collaboration and unity, the Syriac Union Party (SUP) welcomed a delegation from the Assyrian Democratic Organization (ADO) at its headquarters in Zalin (Qamishli), North and East Syria. During the meeting, the two parties engaged in constructive discussions about the current national situation of the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) people in Syria and the broader region. They also addressed recent political and security developments in Syria.

As a result of their fruitful dialogue, the parties reached a consensus on several crucial points aimed at enhancing joint relations. They expressed a commitment to bolster the activities of the Syriac-Assyrian Parties Coordination Committee and pledged to address issues of utmost importance to the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) people residing in North and East Syria and across the country.

In an expression of goodwill and camaraderie, the SUP extended warm congratulations to the ADO on the 66th anniversary of its, wishing the organization continued prosperity in its endeavors.

Following their meeting, the SUP delegation, led by Co-Chair Sanharib Barsom, further showcased their spirit of cooperation by visiting the headquarters of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) in Zalin to offer congratulatory wishes on the occasion of the party’s 12th conference.

This display of joint engagement and support between the Syriac-Assyrian parties and the KDP exemplifies a commitment to mutual progress and understanding for the greater good of the region and its diverse communities.
