Deputy Co-Chair of Syrian Democratic Council Afram Ishaq: Syrian Democratic Council supports peaceful protests on the Syrian territory
NORTH AND EAST SYRIA — In an interview with Al-Yaum TV, Deputy Co-Chair of Syrian Democratic Council (SDC) of North and East Syria Afram Ishaq stated that the Syrian people have the right of peaceful protests, confirming that the SDC supports these peaceful protests.
He added that the SDC supports the legitimate demands of the protesters in achieving political change, and rejects any attempt by the Syrian regime to suppress the protesters by force of arms, because the Syrian people only demand to live with dignity after the increased prices and Syrian regime policies against them.
“The recent initiative of the Democratic Autonomous Administration (DAA) called for a peaceful and political solution away from violence and conflict,” said Ishaq. “It leads to solving the Syrian crisis.”
He declared that if the Syrian regime does not comply with the demands of the Syrian people, the consequences will severely harm all the Syrian people.
