The U.S. to resend its employees and diplomats to North and East Syria

NORTH AND EAST SYRIA — With the recent escalation and military actions in eastern Syria, and in confirmation of the ongoing partnership to establish security and peace in the region, the U.S. intends to resend its civilian employees and diplomats to North and East Syria.

The New York Times, quoting U.S. officials, stated that this sudden step had become necessary, due to the security conditions in the region, according to what was reported by the Xeber 24 website.

The newspaper reported that the U.S. had withdrawn its diplomats and civil employees on 1st June, 2012.

During the security operation conducted by the Syrian Democratic Forces SDF in the Dayro Zcuro (Deir ez-Zor) countryside, a high-ranking U.S. delegation visited the Dayro Zcuro (Deir ez-Zor) countryside, in order to defuse the tribal strife, maintain security and stability in the region and avoid the re-emergence of the Islamic State ISIS, in exploitation of the recent fighting and security chaos.
