Syriac Union Party expresses condolences and solidarity following Baghdede wedding fire tragedy
ZALIN, Syria — In the wake of the heart-wrenching incident in the Nineveh Plains town of Baghdede (Qaraqosh / Hamdaniya), Iraq, where a wedding hall fire claimed the lives of over a hundred Chaldeans–Syriac–Assyrians, Syriac Union Party (SUP) in Syria issued a heartfelt message of condolence. The party, through its media office, conveyed profound sorrow and unwavering solidarity with the families of the victims, extending wishes for mercy to the departed souls and a swift recovery to those injured.
The Syriac Union Party’s condolence telegram expressed deep sorrow and sadness upon learning of the tragedy that befell the people of Nineveh Plains. Affirming solidarity and coordination with all Chaldean–Syriac–Assyrian parties in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRI), the party underscored its commitment to supporting those affected.
