Akkad Ankawa wins Iraqi Women’s Volleyball Club League Championship
The Akkad Ankawa women’s team won first place in the Iraqi Women’s Club League Championship after defeating Sennacherib in three straight games. Aphrodite took third place.
Four clubs qualified for the semi-finals of the tournament: Akkad Ankawa, Sennacherib, Aphrodite, and Taq Taq.
The results of the last day of the women’s league resulted in Taq Taq defeating Erbil Girls in three straight games, while Amanat Baghdad achieved a victory over Basra in three straight games.
