Identities of Internal Security Forces members martyred in Turkish bombing of anti-narcotics academy, funerals held across North and East Syria

NORTH AND EAST SYRIA — The Committee of Families of Martyrs in North and East Syria has disclosed the identities of the 29 members of the Internal Security Forces (ISF) martyred by Turkey in airstrikes on the Anti-Narcotics Academy in the countryside of Dayrik (Al-Malikiyah / Derik). Funeral ceremonies for the 29 martyrs, including the burial of 25, took place with the presence of officials and diverse groups of people.



Funeral ceremonies were conducted on Wednesday in Zalin (Qamishli), Dayrik, Hasakah, and Kobani.

In Zalin, the ceremony unfolded at the Martyr Dalil Sarukhan Cemetery. Representatives from the institutions of the Bethnahrin National Council (Mawtbo Umthoyo d’Bethnahrin, MUB), the Executive and Legislative councils of Gozarto (Jazira) Region, civil and security institutions, political parties, tribal sheikhs, religious institutions, and a substantial number of the public.
