STOCKHOLM — Assyriska Fotbollsföreningen (Assyriska FF) secured a coveted spot in the Swedish Ettan Division, the third tier of Swedish football, with an outstanding performance against Arameiska-Syrianska IF at the Norsborg Stadium in the heart of Stockholm.
Assyriska FF emerged victorious in a thrilling match against Arameiska-Syrianska IF on Saturday, beating their opponent 6-1.
As a result, Assyriska FF clinched the Division 2 – South Svealand title with 58 points. Their closest competitor, Sleipner, finished with 54 points.
Arameiska-Syrianska IF finished in a respectable sixth-place, amassing 35 points, holding a narrow two-point lead over Arameiska-Syrianska IF, which finished in seventh.
