Members of Athra Alliance discuss upcoming election in Iraq
ANKAWA, Iraq — The Chaldean–Syriac–Assyrian political parties of the Athra Alliance convened for a scheduled meeting aimed at reviewing and advancing their action plan for the upcoming elections in Iraq.
The meeting took place at the headquarters of the Assyrian Patriotic Party in Ankawa. During the gathering, the parties addressed several key items on the agenda, including the launch of an advertising campaign to promote Athra Alliance candidates for the upcoming provincial council elections. They also discussed the broader political landscape concerning the Chaldean–Syriac–Assyrian people both on a local and national scale.
